Choose this model if:

Choose the Falcon FFX if you want an American-made, DOJ-listed entry gun safe with a real one-hour fire rating and SafeX anti-pry, and you'd rather pay for protection you will use than features you won't. It is built for someone who wants their first full-size safe to do exactly what it claims, nothing inflated.

Not Ideal For:

If you're protecting irreplaceable documents or media that need a fire rating well beyond an hour, or you want the heavier steel and UL RSC-level body construction of a higher tier, you'll want Rhino's Raptor, Lightning or Thunderbolt series instead.

What Makes the FFXP6033 Different

A UL listed electronic lock controls access, protected by a hardened armor plate and a spring-loaded relocker so a drill attack on the lock doesn't open the bolts. An anti-tamper clutched handle resists forced torque. Together that construction is what separates a real gun safe from a cabinet with a lock on it.
The Falcon FFX is built on 14 gauge steel with fireboard in the ceiling, walls, floor and door, and a heat-activated intumescent door seal that expands up to 8 times its size. That is lighter construction than Rhino's higher tiers, which is exactly the trade-off that keeps this an entry-level price while still earning a 60-minute fire rating at 1400°F.
The patented SafeX Security System interlocks the body and door so a pry bar has far less to work with. Add the internal electrical outlet with USB ports and you have a safe that is both harder to attack and easier to live with every day.

A safe at this level isn't built to defeat a professional safecracker, and we won't tell you otherwise.
