Stairs
Yes, we go upstairs, and down to a terrace level. Whether a given safe can make a given staircase comes down to the width, the turn at the landing and the weight. We settle that from photos before anything is scheduled, not on the day.
Our largest showroom floor and our outlet pricing, south of the airport. Georgia’s oldest safe dealer, since 1978.
The SafeMarket Outlet Center at 630 GA-314, Ste 1011, Fayetteville, GA 30214 (470-358-6526) is our largest floor and serves Fayette, Coweta, Clayton, Henry and Spalding counties and south Georgia. Open Thursday and Friday 11am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Liberty, AMSEC, Rhino Metals, ISM and Fire King, delivered and anchored by our own crews.

The outlet
This is the outlet. It carries the most safes of our three stores, and it is where closeouts, floor models and the clearance units end up. If you are shopping on price, start here. If you are shopping for a specific model, call first; this floor turns over faster than the other two.
The hours are shorter, Thursday through Saturday, so plan the trip. It is worth it for the selection.
The showroom
This is not a gun counter and it does not feel like a hardware store. We built it to feel like a home, because buying a safe is usually a household decision, and whoever is making it needs a place to sit down, ask a plain question and get a plain answer. You will see safes open, with real interiors set up, so you can judge size with your own eyes instead of a catalog number.
Bring your own long guns
Bring your questions and, if you want, bring a couple of your own long guns. Customers do it every week. Nothing on a spec sheet tells you how a scoped rifle stacks next to a shotgun the way setting them inside the door does.
You can see and handle these here today.
| Brand | What is on display | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Liberty Safe | Centurion, USA, Colonial, Franklin, Fatboy, Lincoln, Presidential; Blockade and Beast vault doors | First safe through lifetime collection; the lines most Atlanta families buy |
| American Security (AMSEC) | BFX and BFII gun safes, CS closet safes, jewelry safes, TL-rated commercial safes | Higher burglary ratings, business cash, jewelry |
| Rhino Metals | Falcon, Raptor, Lightning, Thunderbolt; in-swing and out-swing vault doors | Long fire ratings, made in Idaho |
| ISM | Super Diamond jewelry safes | High-value jewelry and watch collections |
| Fire King | File and document safes | Paper, media, business records |

“I bought my first safe here. Easy experience, and I was surprised by how low the prices were. The staff answered my numerous questions. Highly recommended.”
“Local retailer of American Security, Hornady and Liberty safes. They have helped me many times and provided top notch service. People need to stop in and see for themselves.”
“These guys know what they’re about and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a safe or vault door in the Atlanta area. These are your folks for great service.”
Delivery and anchoring
Our own crews, our own trucks, no subcontractors. The Fayetteville store covers the south side and south Georgia: Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Tyrone, Newnan, Senoia, Sharpsburg, Jonesboro, Stockbridge, McDonough, Griffin, Hampton and on down toward Macon, Columbus and the rest of the state.
Two things are specific to this side of town. Most of what we deliver down here goes into a slab home with no basement, often into a garage or a closet, so anchoring is part of nearly every job. And an increasing share of our vault doors go into storm shelters in central and south Georgia. The southern two-thirds of the state is becoming its own small Tornado Alley, and people are building vault rooms for that reason. If that is the project, this is the store to start the conversation in.
A few things worth knowing before you ask for a quote:
Yes, we go upstairs, and down to a terrace level. Whether a given safe can make a given staircase comes down to the width, the turn at the landing and the weight. We settle that from photos before anything is scheduled, not on the day.
Nearly every home we deliver to in this part of Atlanta sits on a slab, and anchoring into it is part of nearly every delivery. We plan the anchoring from your photos before anything is scheduled, so the crew arrives knowing exactly what the floor is.
The truck is unmarked. The safe comes in boxed. It looks like you are getting an appliance or furniture delivered to your home, and that is exactly what we want. Your neighbors learn nothing.
80% of the delivery is the preparation, and we mean that literally. We front load the work. Photos of every doorway and corner, measurements, and only then a schedule. The goal on the day is simple. Smooth and headache free.
Delivery is priced after we see the route photos, because every home is different. Call for a quote or read how delivery and installation pricing works.
You will see us listed next to Academy, Bass Pro and Costco when you search for gun safes near you. Here is the honest difference.
| Question | Big-box store | The SafeMarket Fayetteville |
|---|---|---|
| Can you open the safe and look inside? | Usually not; display units are locked or boxed | Every safe on the floor opens |
| Who answers your questions? | Whoever is on the aisle that day | People who have installed safes for decades |
| Delivery | Curb or threshold, by a freight carrier | Our crew, into the room, shimmed level, anchored |
| Anchoring | No | Yes |
| Lock set up and walkthrough | No | Yes, before the crew leaves |
| Trade-in on your old safe | No | Yes |
| Service after the sale | Call the manufacturer | Call us; we service what we sell and most other brands |
A big-box safe is not a bad safe. For some people it is the right safe. The difference is everything that happens after you pay.
The Fayetteville Outlet Center is open Thursday and Friday from 11am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. It is closed Sunday through Wednesday. Call 470-358-6526 to arrange a visit on another day.
It is our largest floor and the store where closeouts, floor models and clearance units are sold, alongside the full new lineup. The safes are the same brands we carry at Norcross and Kennesaw. Prices on outlet units are marked on the safe and online in the Clearance Center.
No. Walk in any time we are open. If you want a specific model pulled to the front, or you want to bring in your own firearms to test fit, call first and we will have it ready for you.
No. We sell safes, vault doors and the services around them. We do not sell firearms or ammunition. It is a safe showroom built to feel like a home, and you will not find a gun counter here.
Yes. Ammunition stores well inside a gun safe, and a fire-rated safe is a better place for it than a garage shelf. Keep it in the factory boxes or an ammo canister so humidity stays off the brass, and add a desiccant or a dehumidifier rod. We stock both.
Everywhere in Georgia, plus southern Tennessee, eastern Alabama and the Carolinas. Local metro delivery is scheduled weekly. Longer runs are quoted by distance and grouped by route.
Yes. Peachtree City and Newnan are inside the Fayetteville store’s regular delivery area. Macon and the rest of central and south Georgia are scheduled by route, and we quote the trip by distance after we see your route photos.
We deliver and install. That means route photos reviewed before the date, floor protection, placement, shimming so the door swings true, anchoring where the slab allows it, and a walkthrough of the lock before the crew leaves. Nobody leaves a safe on your driveway.
Yes, and we recommend it. Manufacturer gun counts are based on single-barrel .22s. That is the white lie of the industry. A scoped rifle or an AR takes two or three of those slots, so the only way to know what fits is to set your own in the safe.
The core lines are at all three stores. This is our outlet center and it carries the largest floor. If a specific model is only at one store, we can move it, or you can visit whichever store has it. Call and we will check inventory for you.
