What the Showroom Looks Like Inside

This is not a gun counter and it does not feel like a hardware store. We built it to feel like a home, because buying a safe is usually a household decision, and whoever is making it needs a place to sit down, ask a plain question and get a plain answer. You will see safes open, with real interiors set up, so you can judge size with your own eyes instead of a catalog number.

Bring your own long guns

Bring your questions and, if you want, bring a couple of your own long guns. Customers do it every week. Nothing on a spec sheet tells you how a scoped rifle stacks next to a shotgun the way setting them inside the door does.

What Customers Say About Delivery

4.8stars from 105 reviews

“Easily earned 5 stars for both the retail experience and delivery. The delivery team got the safe across 100 yards of terrain, through a fence, and into our basement perfectly. We were worried about our new hardwood floors, but they know what they are doing and have the right stuff to get it done. Not a scratch anywhere.”

“I had a great purchase and installation experience with SafeMarket. The installers were extremely careful and navigated a pretty difficult driveway situation on my property with ease. The installer took the time to show me the features and walk me through changing the combination. Would highly recommend.”
Stacie Jason Headley · 5 stars · Google
“The guys were very helpful as well as professional. They went the extra mile working with me to get the placement correct. I was unable to clear the area myself, and they jumped right in with no hesitation. Really wish other delivery companies would take some notes from these guys!”

Delivery and anchoring

Delivery From the Norcross Store

Our own crews, our own trucks, no subcontractors. The Norcross store handles most deliveries in Gwinnett, DeKalb, north Fulton and the I-85 corridor: Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Suwanee, Buford, Dacula, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Chamblee, Tucker, Lilburn, Snellville and Decatur. We deliver across all of Georgia and into the neighboring states; travel is quoted by distance.

A few things worth knowing before you ask for a quote:

1

Stairs

Yes, we go upstairs, and down to a terrace level. Whether a given safe can make a given staircase comes down to the width, the turn at the landing and the weight. We settle that from photos before anything is scheduled, not on the day.

2

Anchoring

Nearly every home we deliver to in this part of Atlanta sits on a slab, and anchoring into it is part of nearly every delivery. We plan the anchoring from your photos before anything is scheduled, so the crew arrives knowing exactly what the floor is.

3

Discretion

The truck is unmarked. The safe comes in boxed. It looks like you are getting an appliance or furniture delivered to your home, and that is exactly what we want. Your neighbors learn nothing.

80% of the delivery is the preparation, and we mean that literally. We front load the work. Photos of every doorway and corner, measurements, and only then a schedule. The goal on the day is simple. Smooth and headache free.

Delivery is priced after we see the route photos, because every home is different. Call for a quote or read how delivery and installation pricing works.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What are The SafeMarket Norcross hours?

The Norcross showroom is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. It is closed Sunday and Monday. Call 770-242-0055 if you need to come outside those hours; we can often arrange a visit by appointment.

Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?

No. Walk in any time we are open. If you want a specific model pulled to the front, or you want to bring in your own firearms to test fit, call first and we will have it ready for you.

Is this a gun store?

No. We sell safes, vault doors and the services around them. We do not sell firearms or ammunition. It is a safe showroom built to feel like a home, and you will not find a gun counter here.

Can you store ammo in a gun safe?

Yes. Ammunition stores well inside a gun safe, and a fire-rated safe is a better place for it than a garage shelf. Keep it in the factory boxes or an ammo canister so humidity stays off the brass, and add a desiccant or a dehumidifier rod. We stock both.

How far does The SafeMarket deliver?

Everywhere in Georgia, plus southern Tennessee, eastern Alabama and the Carolinas. Local metro delivery is scheduled weekly. Longer runs are quoted by distance and grouped by route.

Do you deliver and install, or just drop it off?

We deliver and install. That means route photos reviewed before the date, floor protection, placement, shimming so the door swings true, anchoring where the slab allows it, and a walkthrough of the lock before the crew leaves. Nobody leaves a safe on your driveway.

Can I bring my own guns in to check fit?

Yes, and we recommend it. Manufacturer gun counts are based on single-barrel .22s. That is the white lie of the industry. A scoped rifle or an AR takes two or three of those slots, so the only way to know what fits is to set your own in the safe.

Do you have the same safes at Kennesaw and Fayetteville?

The core lines are at all three stores. Fayetteville is our outlet center and carries the largest floor. If a specific model is only at one store, we can move it, or you can visit whichever store has it. Call and we will check inventory for you.

Call or Come By

Calling costs you nothing. Visiting may take a little of your time, but you will walk away with an education that was worth the price of admission.
