What Makes the BLB Series Different

Security Construction & Burglary Protection
AMSEC builds the BLB Series with a 1/2-inch solid steel door and a continuously welded 4-gauge steel body, which AMSEC's own materials also describe as 1/4-inch steel. That combination earns what the industry calls a B burglary rating, a real construction standard rather than just a marketing label. Three chrome-plated locking bolts, a full-length dead bar on the hinge side, and a spring-loaded relocker back that up, giving you genuine resistance to prying and forced entry. For a small business storing cash and valuables, that's meaningfully more protection than a residential safe or an unrated box.
Highlight
Certified Fire Protection & What It Means
The BLB Series does not carry a fire rating. If protecting documents or cash from fire matters for your business, ask us about AMSEC's combination burglary-fire commercial safes, which add that protection at the next tier up.
Highlight
Lock Type & Access Options
The BLB Series uses a UL Group II key-changeable combination lock with 1 million possible combinations as standard, with an electronic lock upgrade available if you want audit or multi-user features. The relock feature means you can change the combination yourself without calling a locksmith every time an employee with access leaves. We help you decide whether the mechanical lock or the electronic upgrade fits how your team actually operates.
