The UL TRTL-30x6 listing adds oxy-acetylene torches to the thirty minute attack test and applies it to all six sides, and ISM builds for it by casting body and door around Alchronite, its patented torch and drill resistant composite, with a layer of anti-penetration alloy grid embedded in it. This sits in the upper reach of ISM's UL listed range, above the tool-only certifications and below the sixty minute torch rating. What changes at this level is not the thickness but the chemistry.
Step Up If:If thirty certified torch minutes would not be enough for what you are holding, the sixty minute rating is the next step and it doubles the tested duration on the same six faces. That usually comes into play when the value inside is large enough that a crew would accept a long, loud, visible attack. It is a forward looking consideration rather than a sign the Emerald is wrong for you today.
More Than Needed If:If the realistic threat to your safe is someone with hand tools and twenty minutes of nerve, the torch certification is coverage you will never draw on. A six-sided tool-only listing gives you the same thirty certified minutes against that attack at meaningfully less weight and cost. We would rather move you down a step than have you pay for a threat model that does not match your situation.
