At The SafeMarket, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all delivery pricing. Unlike small packages, safes are large, heavy, and require specialized handling. The cost to deliver and install your safe depends on a variety of unique factors, including:

The size and weight of your safe
How far we’re traveling
Stairs, tight turns, or special flooring
Whether you need upstairs, garage, or in-home installation

Rather than charge a flat fee that overcharges some and underestimates others, we provide a personalized delivery quote after we help you find the right safe and understand your installation needs.

Store Pickup (Free)

Appointment Required: Our operations team will contact you to confirm availability and schedule your pickup time at our Norcross warehouse location.
Vehicle Requirements: Pickup truck or trailer recommended. Small vehicles unsuitable. Ensure proper tie-downs and be prepared to remove your tailgate.
Weight Considerations: Consult with a salesperson regarding weight and loading requirements. We assist with loading but you're responsible for safe transport.

Contactless Delivery

Driveway Delivery: Safe delivered boxed and palletized.
Level Pathway Required.: Concrete pathway necessary.
Remains Packaged.: Safe stays on pallet in packaging

This delivery option is ideal if you plan to handle unpacking and positioning yourself. Mileage fees may apply based on your location.

In-Home Installation

Ground Floor Specialty: Our specialty service limited to 0-3 steps within local zones. Level concrete or paved pathway required for safe delivery.
Optional Anchoring: Safe removal from pallet and anchoring available as optional services under normal installation conditions.
Customer Responsibility: Ensure pathway, foundation, and structure can support safe weight, equipment, and installation crew.

Upstairs/Downstairs Installation

Stair Assessment Required: We assess your stairs before scheduling. Email photos and discuss with our team to ensure safe, efficient delivery for 4-15 steps.
Size Limitations Apply: Larger safes may not be eligible due to landing space restrictions, staircase structure, and equipment spacing requirements.
Additional Fees for Complex Stairs: Deliveries involving more than 15 total steps will incur additional fees determined after checkout and assessment.

Terrace/ Basement Deliveries

Below Main Level: Delivery to basement or terrace level, partially or wholly underground with walkout access.
Outdoor Terrain Access: Any unpaved terrain (gravel, grass, dirt) qualifies as terrace/basement delivery regardless of stairs.
Team Assessment: Our delivery team has exclusive right to define delivery type upon reviewing pathway pictures.

Difficult Deliveries

Extra fees may apply for challenging conditions:

Steep terrain
Stairs or upper floors
Delicate flooring (marble/tile/wood)

Anchoring Services

Not included in delivery

2-point anchor $75

4-point anchor $150

Anchor to customer-supplied 4x4 or 4x6 lumber $200

Additional Mileage

Base delivery pricing includes a 25-mile radius from our store.

Within 25 miles Base Price

25–100 miles Base + $3/mile

Beyond 100 miles Base + $4/mile

Post-Tension Slabs

Some homes have post-tension slab foundations, which cannot be drilled into for anchoring. It is the customer's responsibility to determine if their home has a PT slab. We do not verify this and are not liable for any issues related to anchoring on PT slabs.

Customer Responsibilities

Ensure all pathways, stairways, and surfaces can safely support the safe, moving equipment, and crew. Extra fees may apply for complex setups.

Right to Decline

We may decline any installation that risks injury or property damage. Safety is our priority.
